How to start a game with friends
- Gather 5–10 players. Sign in and choose Create room.
- Share the room link. Each friend signs in and joins the game from their own device.
- Choose roles and expansions in the room settings. Once everyone has joined, the host locks the game and starts the party.
Is it free?
Playing Avalon with friends is free. An account is required to create a room or join as a player. Optional premium features and AI games have separate terms; see their pages for details.
What devices do we need?
Open avalon-game.com in a browser on a phone, tablet or computer. No app installation is needed. Each player uses their own screen to keep their role secret.
How do we talk during the game?
Use the room text chat or arrange a separate voice call, for example on Discord. If you are together in person, discuss the game aloud and use Hide spoilers to conceal private information on your screen.
Which roles and expansions are available?
Choose classic roles such as Merlin, Percival, Morgana, Mordred and Oberon, or try additional roles such as the Lovers and Witch. Lady of the Lake and Excalibur add more options. The game history lets you review past actions unless the room uses hidden history.
